The Story Behind A222

A222 was born from a desire to create something of my own. Something meaningful, creative and flexible enough to fit around my life.

I live with health conditions including arthritis and fibromyalgia, as well as CPTSD, and there are days when my body and mind simply don’t allow me to do things in the way I would like. I wanted to create something I could build from home, at my own pace, while still being there for my children and looking after myself. 

My children are one of the biggest reasons I wanted to create something of my own. I want more for them — more opportunities, more security, more freedom and I want them to see that your circumstances don’t have to define your future.

The number 222 has always held a special meaning for me. During some of the most difficult periods of my life, seeing 222 became a small source of comfort — something that felt like a reminder to pause, keep going and trust that difficult chapters wouldn’t last forever.

That feeling became the heart of A222.

A222 became a way for me to turn something difficult into something creative.

A brand built around individuality, self-expression, spirituality and movement, but also around the reality that life isn’t always perfect.

It’s for the woman finding her way through her own difficult season.

For the woman rebuilding.

For the woman becoming herself again.

The A222 Woman

She moves through the world with intention. She shows up fully herself. She doesn't follow trends; she sets her own energy. She believes that how you dress is how you tell the world who you are, and she chooses alignment every single time.

What We Make

Our pieces sit at the intersection of feminine energy, athleisure, and elevated basics. Think buttery-soft fabrics that move with you, silhouettes that flatter without trying too hard, and details that feel considered. Each piece is designed to carry you from morning ritual to evening energy, from stillness to motion.

We draw inspiration from alignment, modern spirituality, and the sacred practice of taking care of yourself. Because when you feel good in what you wear, everything else flows.

I’ve also found that a lot of activewear simply isn’t designed with women’s needs and preferences in mind. Some of the details can feel more focused on how the garment looks on a mannequin than how it actually feels to wear.

One thing I’ve always hated is front crotch seams, they’re uncomfortable, unflattering and just unnecessary in my opinion. I also love pockets, because if I’m wearing something practical, I want it to actually be practical.

So with A222, I wanted to pay attention to the little details that make a genuine difference and create pieces that feel comfortable, flattering, functional and made with women in mind.

My Mission
